Programs and Admissions

Our Kindergarten program caters to children aged 3 to 5 years old. Education closely follows the State Educational Program for pre-primary education in kindergartens, but it is also enriched with Montessori curricula covering mathematics, language, sensory exploration, art, science, geography, and practical life activities, all of which are seamlessly integrated with daily English language instruction. Children have the opportunity to work with Montessori educational materials of their choice within thoughtfully prepared environments, fostering independent learning at their own pace.

Within this dynamic setting, children explore both nature and urban environments, participate in trips, excursions, and research expeditions, conduct hands-on experiments, engage with permaculture, bake, and express their creativity using a variety of materials. At Bystra kindergarten, each child is regarded as an individual, and our dedicated teachers provide loving guidance on their path towards independence, while nurturing qualities such as patience, tolerance, and mutual respect.

• engaging special events every month, experiential outings and excursions, as well as themed festivities throughout the school year, including the Pumpkin Festival, Christmas workshops, Christmas parties, Carnival, Easter workshops, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Children's Day, and more
• comprehensive annual thematic plan, providing parents with advance information regarding the subjects and areas their child will be exploring
• activities tailored to enhance language skills, mathematical concepts, and the development of fine and gross motor skills, alongside movement proficiency
• regular outdoor excursions and outdoor play, regardless of weather conditions, all in close proximity to a forest and dam
• a closed parent group, receiving weekly updates on their child's activities at the kindergarten
• provision of all necessary educational materials, workbooks, art supplies, and gifts for occasions such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Children's Day, and cultural events or guest visits within the kindergarten, including the organization of birthday celebrations
• collaboration with an in-house psychologist, offering regular psychological lectures for parents
• biannual comprehensive parental consultations to track the child's progress or address any specific concerns as needed by the parent
• our teachers uphold a professional standard, possessing pedagogical qualifications, training in Montessori pedagogy, expertise in speech therapy and psychology, with an in-house Montessori expert available at Bystra kindergarten

The Preschool program represents the final stage of mandatory pre-primary education within our kindergarten. This preschool curriculum offers a well-rounded and diverse educational experience within a Montessori-inspired setting, all while being conducted in English. During this period, children naturally enhance their mathematical abilities, further exploring concepts of addition and subtraction, gaining proficiency in time-telling, mastering reading literacy, phonemic awareness, and delving into advanced reading and writing skills. Additionally, they immerse themselves in captivating subjects encompassing biology, natural history, geography, and cosmic education.

The central objective of the preschool program is to equip children for their impending journey into elementary school. This preparation encompasses more than just knowledge acquisition; it places a strong emphasis on instilling independence, responsibility, emotional competence, self-expression, and critical thinking through a combination of individual and group activities. In this enriching environment, children derive joy from their learning experiences and accomplishments, which significantly smoothes their transition to elementary school. This journey also fosters self-assurance in their capabilities and fuels their excitement for personal growth. At Bystra kindergarten, we harness the distinct potential of every child, empowering our preschoolers to become self-confident, compassionate, and actively engaged individuals.

• individual educational plans are crafted for every preschooler
• preparation for admission interviews to selective elementary schools
• exciting special events take place monthly, alongside experiential trips, thematic occasions such as festivals, workshops, and celebrations like Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Children's Day
• regular outdoor activities in all weather conditions, taking advantage of the nearby forest and dam
• parents are part of a close-knit group, receiving weekly updates on their child's kindergarten activities
• all necessary materials, including teaching aids, workbooks, art supplies, and gifts for special occasions, are provided
• cooperation with an in-house psychologist, offering regular psychological lectures for parents
• parenting consultations three times a year, with additional meetings for preschoolers
• teachers follow a professional approach, holding essential pedagogical qualifications and training in Montessori pedagogy, speech therapy, and psychology. An in-house Montessori expert supports the program
