Drawing from my personal experience, I've come to appreciate the significance of a respectful approach
and an enriching environment in the education of children. Sadly, these aspects are sometimes undervalued
by society. Consequently, we make it our mission to provide daily guidance to each child on their journey
toward discovering inner equilibrium, self-assuredness, and a genuine enthusiasm for learning. Our
ultimate goal is to empower every child to lead a fulfilling, joyful, and intellectually stimulating life. This, in
essence, defines Bystrá škôlka.

feel. “
I love my job because it gives me the opportunity to work with children, and to see their happy faces
whenever they learn something new or make a progress. I am grateful for this job because no one can give

London was my home for 25 years, during which I served as a private nanny for various families. My role
centered around establishing a safe, enjoyable, and affectionate space for their children. I consistently
provided unwavering care, comfort, and addressed their physical, emotional, and cognitive requirements,
resulting in the children's happiness, contentment, and the development of strong trust bonds with the
families. Every child is a unique, one-of-a-kind individual, progressing and learning at their own pace. My
unwavering dedication is to assist them in evolving into self-assured, intelligent, and joyful individuals who
will carry these attributes forward into adulthood.
I also worked in Dubai during my years abroad.

During my academic years, I had the chance to gain experience in various educational settings, but my
passion for nurturing and educating children truly ignited while working as an au pair. Throughout my
teaching career, I've had the privilege of guiding children of various age groups, including those with
special educational needs and gifted children. When preparing preschoolers for literacy, I find Prof.
Eľkonin's phonemic awareness method particularly effective, as it fosters learning through play and lays
the foundation for proficient reading. Additionally, I continue to incorporate principles from Hejné’s
method, adapting them to suit different levels of learning. I find Hejné's approach highly appealing, and I'm
delighted to see its innovative techniques gaining traction in educational institutions.
Among my esteemed pedagogical inspirations is Maria Montessori, a pioneer in individualized preschool
education.
As Maria says “Anyone who wants to follow my method must understand that he should not honour me but
follow the child as his leader”
I try to make the child feel happy, safe, respected and to help him fulfill his or her potential.

From my earliest years, I nurtured the dream of becoming a teacher, and I diligently followed that path.
Once, I came across a quote that left a lasting impression on me, and I'd like to share it with you: "Your child
only experiences one childhood, and it shapes everything – their perspective on the world, their capacity for
love, their ability to trust, and their self-concept. Every interaction with children carries the potential to
uplift or diminish their spirits." I've held onto this quote for many years. I find joy in being authentic,
fostering creativity, singing, dancing, engaging in philosophical conversations with children, and
addressing their thought-provoking questions. Witnessing the progress and accomplishments of children is
something I cherish deeply. I am dedicated to teaching them values such as mutual respect, humility, and
kindness. In this journey, I am not just their teacher; they are also my teachers.

As a preschool teacher, I take immense joy and satisfaction in stimulating children’s curiosity and creativity
through various everyday educational activities and providing them with a safe and healthy environment
to learn and grow. After accumulating several years of international work experience in childcare and child
education in Scotland, Greece and Finland, I have become aware of the need to pursue postgraduate study
in order to advance my career and broaden my professional horizons. After finishing my Master Degree in
Early Language Education for Intercultural Communication in Finland, I was able to achieve some of my
other goals in my career and therefore I was able to work as a teacher in Iceland and Bali too before
coming back to Slovakia.
