Production of own paper.

Production of own paper.

• Together with the children from our nursery, we made our unique recycled paper, which took us
about 30 minutes to prepare.
What we need:
• newspapers, office paper, toilet paper, egg cartons, envelopes, etc.
• accessories for decoration (glitter , dried or pressed herbs, flowers, etc.)
• warm water
• a large water container
• a scoop
• wooden frame with sieve
• stick blender
• kitchen sponge
• absorbent material

Method:
Begin by tearing the paper into small pieces, then cover it with warm water and let it soak for a few minutes.
Afterward, use a stick blender to create a pulp by thoroughly blending the paper mixture with the water.
Once mixed, add glitter and ensure it's well incorporated. With care, immerse the wooden frame equipped
with a strainer into the container, gradually lifting it to the surface and removing it from the water. You can
use a ladle to assist in pouring water onto areas where cracks may appear. The paper mixture is caught in the
strainer, allowing excess water to drain away. Flip the strainer with the paper onto an absorbent cloth and use
a kitchen sponge to extract any remaining moisture through the strainer. Gently remove the strainer and
allow the paper to dry for a few hours. Repeat this process multiple times until you have an adequate amount
of paper. Once the paper is completely dry, delicately stretch the fabric from all sides and easily peel the
paper away. This finished paper can serve as a postcard, a canvas for drawings, or a canvas for decoration,
each reflecting our unique creative style. So, are you willing to give it a try?
